Vision

Hopkins Homes hopes to create a vision that offers residents a strong sense of belonging which will be sustainable for all ages.

The site is landscape led, being strongly influenced by the key design, traits and historic rural patterns found locally. This includes a new country park focused on the river valley and its flood plain, protecting and enhancing natural landscapes whilst providing green open space for new and existing residents to enjoy.

Accessibility is a key feature of the vision including pedestrian and cycle ways utilising green corridor routes and public spaces. More widely the site will deliver well-connected routes to local schools, shops, the leisure centre and employment facilities in Chelmsford City Centre and other local areas.

The site will also deliver a variety of house types and tenures enhancing the opportunities for first time buyers to get onto the housing ladder or for residents to upsize or downsize their homes.
